NUTRITION QUIZ

PROTEINIQ

How much do you really know about protein? Ten questions a round, four options each, exactly one correct. Every answer comes with the reasoning behind it, so a wrong guess still teaches you something.

One question at a time

Read. Pick. Find out why.

No timer, no streak pressure inside a round. Just a question, four options, and an explanation waiting on the other side of your answer.

1

Read the question

Nutrition, food sources, digestion, the science, and the myths. One question per screen, nothing else competing for attention.

2

Pick one of four

Exactly one option is correct, and the four are shuffled on every deal. The right answer never sits in the same place twice.

3

See the reasoning

Your answer locks in, the correct one is revealed, and a short explanation tells you why. Get six of ten and you win the round.

The question bank

Unlimited rounds, 14 topics.

Play as many rounds as you like. Each one is dealt at random from a growing bank, written to teach rather than to trick, with a good few questions there to clear up advice that has been repeated so often it sounds true.

The part most quizzes skip

Every answer explained.

A tick or a cross tells you nothing. Protein IQ gives you the reason, so the fact sticks and you can repeat the argument later.

The 30 gram limit

Nearly all of a large dose is absorbed. The 30 gram figure confuses absorption with the plateau in muscle protein synthesis.

Protein and kidneys

Controlled studies find no kidney damage in healthy people on high intakes. The restriction advice is for existing kidney disease, and it got over-generalised.

Plants are incomplete

Soy, quinoa, buckwheat and amaranth all supply the nine essential amino acids. The rule has real exceptions.

Two boards, no combined score

Rank on what you choose.

Sign in with Google and you appear on two independent rankings. Both are cumulative, so nothing resets after a round, and a round you lost still adds the questions you got right.

🏆

WINS

How many rounds you have won, needing six correct out of ten each time. Consistency, not one lucky set.

🎯

CORRECT

Every question you have answered right, whether you won that round or not. Volume and accuracy over time.

Find out what you actually know.

A round takes a couple of minutes. You will probably learn something in the first one.
